About Oceanside Martial Arts

Oceanside Martial Arts has been offering instruction and training in Karate since 1997. Located in Exeter, RI, Oceanside Martial Arts has produced champions in life as well as in the martial arts.

Headed by LOIS RIESS, HEAD SENSEI, YAN DAN (4th DEGREE BLACK BELT) and a staff of expert instructors and managers, Oceanside Martial Arts offers a number of programs for physical fitness and instruction in Karate.


OCEANSIDE MARTIAL ARTS COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP

Oceanside has a college scholarship fund for all OMA black belt youth students that are planning on attending college.

We have known for a long time that there are very few martial arts scholarships out there and we would like to rectify that here at Oceanside. We feel that students should be recognized for their achievements in the martial arts.

Starting in May we will be taking $1.00 from every students belt test fee and putting it into a fund for a scholarship. The awarded money will be given to the student and they can use the funds to buy books, cloths, gas almost anything that they feel they need for college.

The scholarship for the graduates of 2008 will receive $250. After that we hope to be increasing the awards thru fund raisers. Currently the scholarship will be limited to black belts only, however as our funds grow we would hope to expand the awards to the higher under belts.
