Belt Progress & Advancement
Karate offers a systematic method of student development and progress measured by colored belts. Oceanside Martial Art's instructors will guide the willing student through the intense training required to achieve the rank of "black belt."
If you are a Orange Belt or higher you must have attended 3 Sparring Classes between promotions. You must come to Sparing Class with sparring gear, helmet, hands, and feet. End of Month sparring in your normal class counts.

Be prepared for your first class after a test by knowing the name of your new kata(s) and having your new weapon with you.
